MAC Automation Concepts, a leading supplier of auxiliary equipment and parts-handling solutions to the plastics industry, has introduced a new line of gaylord covers. These covers feature an adjustable design to fit most standard sizes of gaylord containers. 

These covers are designed to provide a snug fit to keep contaminants out of the resin in the gaylord. The design features two telescoping rods, mounted across the width of the cover for ease of installation and to prevent the cover from sagging. This allows users to adjust the size of the cover, and an elastic band with a belt and buckle allows for easy tightening of the cover. The covers also help contain resin material when the cover is removed, to prevent resin from falling on the floor.

“We have introduced the patented covers to the plastics industry, and are happy to introduce an even better, improved design,” said Joe Gracia, National Sales Manager at MAC Automation Concepts. “These new covers offer great flexibility and can be easily installed by one person.” 

The covers are customizable with different colors, customer logos, etc. Gracia noted that colors allow users to easily identify specific materials in their plant, for instance blue covers for virgin resin, red covers for recycled resin, etc. Five sizes of covers are available. Covers are in stock and available for fast shipping.  Covers can also be designed for customer-specific applications.
