PCS Company will display two new products, its new TC50 hot runner temperature controller and its Chrome High Pressure Oil Filters (CHP), at the Injection Molding & Design Expo in Detroit, being held May 25-26. 

TC50 Hot Runner Temperature Controller

The TC50 features two models for 6 or 12 zones of control, and features a large, easy to use 7" HMI touch screen. 

Standard features of the TC50 include self-diagnostics, mold memory, zone slaving, leak detection and injection press connectivity for I/O functions, to name a few.

“The TC50 is a full-featured, yet affordable temperature controller for smaller hot runner applications,” said Paul Hauser, Product Manager at PCS.  “It is designed to provide users with a system that allows them to easily program, monitor and record their hot runner processing parameters.” 

Additional features of the TC50 include:

• Group setup function
• Power balance detection and display
• Synchronous heat up and cool down
• Thermocouple type selectable: J/K
• Temperature unit selectable: C / F

 

PCS Company provides replacement items for the TC50 hot runner controller including modules, BUS boards, Output boards, I/O boards, HMI module, and control and output fuses.

 

Chrome High Pressure Oil Filters

The new PCS Filtroil Chrome High Pressure Oil Filters (CHP) are oil filtration systems designed for use with hydraulic and hybrid injection molding machines. This dedicated bypass filtration system far exceeds industry standards, filtering down to 1 micron, and maintains cleanliness levels several grades cleaner than brand new oil.

“Maintaining oil cleanliness is critical in reducing wear in injection molding machines,” said Paul Hauser. “These oil filtration systems are perfect for molding plants, where they can be easily mounted to the machines.”

The CHP houses over 400 yards of treated cellulose tightly-wound fiber that filters the oil through several inches of media. The result is maximum contaminant holding capacity and moisture removal from the oil. Field retrofit kits are included for easy mounting to the molding machine. The CHP also features easy filter element changes; no tools are necessary. Each unit includes a shut-off valve for easy filter changes on the fly.
