Accede Mold & Tool Co., Inc. is an independent and privately owned injection mold builder located in Rochester, New York.

ACCEDE goes beyond traditional mold building, specializing in complex and precision state-of-the-art mold making for the plastic injection molding industry.  We leverage our knowledge gained from more than 40-years’ cross-industry experience to develop value-added solutions that meet our customer’s most demanding challenges – from research and development pilot tooling through full turn-key system integrations.

Core competencies include high cavitation, stack, and two-shot solutions including conventional rotary, in-mold rotary, lift-and-rotate, core-back, and SpinStack® (cube mold) systems.

In-house capabilities include design and manufacturing engineering, full manufacturing including CNC milling, CNC turning, conventional and sinking EDM, grinding, and polishing, and CMM inspection.  Our in-house sampling lab is versatile and well equipped with presses ranging from 120 to 720-tons, including multi-shot and cleanroom capabilities. Our Systems Integration Center has more than 15,000 square feet available for turn-key programs.

In 2020 ACCEDE instituted our “Remote Mold Validation Process” where customers are able to participate and collaborate with us for mold qualifications via web conferencing. The goal of our virtual sample is to provide customers a superior experience, bringing more value than traditional in-person mold qualifications.  Today’s customer is spread way too thin to spend days onsite qualifying a mold that could be performed virtually, and our job is to make that experience seamless, efficient, detailed, and effective.
